Find your CPC
By Oliver Wakefield-Smith, Digital Signet. Updated July 2026.

Where the numbers live in your dashboard
In Google Ads: Campaigns view, add the Cost and Clicks columns, set the date range to the period you are pricing. Cost divided by clicks is the Avg. CPC column the interface already shows; this tool exists so you can sanity-check it from an invoice or a bank statement.
Once you have your number: judge whether it is good, read the 2026 benchmarks, or check the formula page for more worked slips.
