What drives the price
Dental combines two auction-heating ingredients: high lifetime patient value and tight local competition. Every practice in a postcode bids on the same handful of searches, and implant or orthodontic work worth thousands justifies aggressive bids on those terms.
The compensation is conversion: at 10.67% the dental row converts well above the 8.18% cross-industry average. Expensive clicks that book appointments beat cheap clicks that do not.
The strategic split is implant-class keywords (high CPC, high value) against hygiene-class keywords (cheaper, lower value). The dentist scenario works that split with the max-CPC calculator.
